The College of Fine Arts seeks applicants for the position of Graphic Art Specialist within the Office of the Dean.
The College offers degree programs in Art, Art Education, Art History, Dance, Interior Design, and Theatre. The College also houses several non-academic units including the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts. Many of our programs rank among the most respected in the nation. Bachelors degree and 2 years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years is required.
A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing is required, as is knowledge of the principle and practices of graphic design. Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or comparable software is required, as is experience with design and photo editing software and programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign). Qualified candidates will have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, and must be able to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
A Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field is preferred.
