FSU Art Professor Holly Hanessian was recently published in the Ceramic Reader by Bloomsbury of London.
In her essay The Digital Future: Reimagining Ceramic Education in the 21st Century, Hanessian discusses education and the digital future as the world continues moving through the digital age.
As many already know, Hanessian is beginning a four-year presidential cycle for the National Council on Education and the Ceramic Arts, the largest annual arts organization with over 6,000 attending members. Her leadership position will help shape the national dialogue on policy, advocacy and prominence of the ceramic arts. Her national reputation is built on years of combining research in the senses (primarily touch), social engagement and digital practices.
