The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) offers a rare opportunity for first- and second-year students to partner with our excellent faculty as research assistants. Students in UROP work closely with faculty and peers, receive mentorship and training in the UROP Colloquium class, and present their contributions in the Spring Research Symposium. This program not only gives incredible experience and connections, but jump starts its students on their honors thesis and research grants.
This upcoming year, there will be a unique opportunity for arts students in this program. For the first time, there will be a section of colloquium specifically tailored to arts students and arts research. Please apply so that this opportunity for arts majors has enough driven students and the arts section can exist.
The deadline to apply is WEDNESDAY, MAY 1st!
Above is the link to the login page for students to apply. The application is very short, includes numbers such as SAT score and GPA, and only has a less than 300 word essay.
