FSU Alumnus Samantha Burns was selected as Honorable Mention in the International Sculpture Center’s 2014 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award program. From 374 applicants, only 25 were selected as Honorable Mention.
The submissions were juried by Kathryn Mikesell, Founder of the Fountainhead Residency and Studios, Miami, FL; Stefano Catalani, Director of Art, Craft & Design at the Bellevue Arts Museum in Bellevue, WA; and Donald Lipski, Sculptor, NY.
Samantha will be recognized in the October 2014 issue of Sculpture Magazine and on www.sculpture.org. Her portfolio will also be listed on the Sculpture Magazine’s website.
