FSU Art Professors and Alumni Featured in 30 for 30 Invitational Exhibition

Published January 27, 2015

30 for 30COCA is turning 30! We want to celebrate this milestone by highlighting our local artists with this special exhibition. During the past 30 years, The Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) has been proud to exhibit the work of more than 6,000 talented painters, illustrators, sculptors, photographers, and fine craftsmen. Each one has left their mark on our community making it a unique and vibrant place to live and visit. COCA has created the 30 for 30 Invitational Exhibition to recognize some of our most accomplished artists. We asked the public for nominations of the artists they believed have contributed most to our quality of life over the past 30 years. From those nominations, 30 artists have been invited to show their work at the City Hall Gallery. A public opening reception is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the City Hall Gallery. There is no charge for the reception or the exhibition. The City Hall Gallery is located on the second floor of City Hall, 300 South Adams Street and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.
