Critical Making is a handmade book project by Garnet Hertz that explores how hands-on productive work ‐ making ‐ can supplement and extend critical reflection on technology and society.
The 352 page publication contains work from 70 contributors ‐ primarily from contemporary art and academia. In addition to the contribution by FSU Art professor Rob Duarte, the project includes writings by Chris Csikszentmihalyi, Reed Ghazala, Natalie Jeremijenko, Mark Pauline, Fiona Raby and others.
