The Florida State University might not be the first place anyone would equate with contemporary art, let alone contemporary Cuban art. But FSU’s Museum of Fine Arts does have its share of ultra vivid; and FSU Art Professor Lilian Garcia-Roig shows among some ultra vivid Cuban contemporaries too. Want proof? Hit Art Wynwood Booth A-19, where, as FSU News reports, Coral Gables-based Cernuda Arte will have Garcia Roig’s works walled with the likes of Wifredo Lam, Víctor Manuel, Amelia Peláez, Tomás Sánchez and Miguel Florido. You might never consider Tallahassee the same way again.
