Interpretations of nomadism, power structures and relationship exploration are at the core of Florida State University’s art faculty Joelle Dietrick’s and Judy Rushin’s current body of work. Dietrick produces two-dimensional and time-based artworks that consider how contemporary nesting instincts have evolved with communication technology. Rushin’s work explores the relationships between people and spatial environments through painting, sculpture and installation.
