This is Abigail with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. You may have seen that the Florida State Parks’ annual photo contest, Capture the Real Florida, launched on November 1, and we would love your help in sharing this opportunity with your community!
With 175 state parks, scenic trails, and historic sites across Florida, there are endless beautiful backdrops for nature-based and recreational photos. We want to see them through your point of view! Whether your members, students, or followers are seasoned photographers or casual explorers, this is a great chance for them to showcase their perspective.
The contest is open to all Florida state park visitors, and the submission period runs from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024. Entries can be submitted on the photo contest website. Please help us spread the word by sharing this opportunity via newsletters, social media, or any other communication channels you use.
