This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-organized individual to provide graphic support to the Division of Recreation, Bureau of Operational Services. Primarily this position will provide graphic support for the Interpretive Program and the Florida State Parks AmeriCorps Program.

Projects will include, but are not limited to, development of logos and program branding tools, e-newsletter layout and formatting, development, design and layout of infographics, interpretive panels, signage, posters, flyers and other publication materials and trail map layouts to be used in park programming, exhibits, kiosks, presentations and promotional items.
The job announcement closes on May, 15, 2013, and the position will be filled soon after. The position is 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The starting hourly rate is $13.00.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required include skills in use of office equipment including proficiency in the following software: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites Design Premium (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc); ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data; ability to work independently; ability to identify, investigate and resolve problems; ability to handle multiple tasks; ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work projects; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; ability to maintain a valid
