Experimental Drawing Students make Earthworks at Tallahassee Museum

Published March 17, 2016

From March 21st thru Friday March 25th, a series of Earth works can be seen though out the grounds at the Tallahassee Museum. Students from an Experimental Drawing Class in Florida State University’s Department of Art have created objects and environments in natural areas. The assigned project is for individual and groups to create art in natural settlings entirely from the natural materials around that site-specific location. Some of these creations can be subtle or on trails less traveled and some can be seen from a distance. These artistic works are not marked.
