Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Course

Offered for the 7th time this fall semester, the course is open to advanced undergraduate and graduate students from ALL disciplines–NO prerequisites! Students work in teams to analyze the business potential of their proposed technology-based product or service. In addition to the team projects, the course includes lectures and class discussions on such topics as entrepreneurship, lean start-up concepts, patent and copyright law, how to conduct a market study, sources of financing for start-up companies, and case studies from successful entrepreneurs.
