“The Art of Dance” is an exhibition of sketches, watercolors and oil paintings by the award wining artist, Eluster Richardson. This exhibition will capture the essence of dance as an art form that enriches our lives, and Richardson’s paintings and drawings will illustrate the beauty and movement in the artist’s signature style. Capturing the emotions of people and transferring those emotions onto canvases has become Richardson’s specialty. “My challenge is to capture as many cultural dances as possible. Dancing is a means of celebration or showing happiness in many of our lives.”

How does one navigate personal challenges when the rainbow in our lives dissipates?
Cassie Tucker ponders this question and more in her quiet watercolor paintings that explore places she has travel throughout Europe. The artist’s goal is to venture both in reality and internally to provoke questions, inspire reflection, and initiate renewal.

Both exhibitions are being hosted by the Gadsden Art Center.
