Deadline Extension! McSweeney’s’ first-ever Student Short Story Contest

McSweeney’s is happy to announce that the deadline had been extended for McSweeney’s’ first-ever Student Short Story Contest until September 30! They forgot that most students don’t return to school until September, and they want to offer as many students as possible the chance to enter. The contest is guest-judged by Curtis Sittenfeld and the winner will receive $500 and his/her story printed in the quarterly.
