“Anything Goes” at the 2013 Benefit Concert as the School of Theatre at Florida State University presents Cole, a musical romp through the works of the illustrious composer, Cole Porter. Broadway-star and Tallahassee-legend, Davis Gaines (Phantom of the Opera, Hello Dolly, and Camelot) returns to serenade audiences with the great-American standards of one of the 20th century’s most influential composers. Joining him on-stage will be fellow FSU Music Theatre Alumni Jessica Lea Patty (Evita, The Addams Family, and 9 to 5: The Musical). “Night and Day,” “What is this Thing Called Love” and “Why Can’t You Behave?” are just some of the classics that are sure to delight audiences. This “De-lovely” event’s proceeds support the students at The School of Theatre of Florida State.
“Let’s Misbehave” together on December 14 at 7:30pm in the Fallon Theatre. For those who “Get their kicks from Champagne,” a special reception with Gaines, Patty, and the cast will happen on-stage following the performance.
