The latest version of Darktable (an open source tool for digital photography) includes code contributed by FSU Art Assistant Professor Dan Torop. This code (quite a bit of which originated in another open source program, “dcraw”) allows Darktable to develop raw image files made with recent Fujifilm cameras. Those cameras use a novel configuration of red, green, and blue sensing elements which previously was unreadable by Darktable. See http://www.darktable.org/ to download Darktable 1.6.0, which includes this new code and many other improvements to an already great program. |
