Creative Director of The Kudzu Review Opportunity
The Kudzu Review is looking for a Creative Director to lead the journal’s Web & Print Publication Designs and manage artist submission. The position is unpaid. It can be taken as a volunteer or as an upper level English class (for up to three elective credit-hours). The students do not need to be English majors to sign up for credit-hours.
with “Creative Director Application Fall 2013” in the subject line. Attach a Microsoft Word document or PDF version of your résumé. Don’t concern yourself with fitting your credentials onto a single page. Be sure to include all of the following:
1. Major(s) & Minor(s)
2. Year in school
4. List all relevant work experience. Be sure to mention any previous affiliation with The Kudzu Review. *Relevant work experience entails roles that demonstrate (transferable) skills or qualities that will benefit the publication. Previous publishing experience is a plus.
5. Provide an explanation of objectives and intent in working with The Kudzu Review: goals, desired experience, and potential benefit to the publication. *Minimum Word Count: 150
6. Optional: Submit up to 3 samples (via email attachment) that demonstrate the quality of work you would contribute to The Kudzu Review
Interviews will be held on Friday, April 26th at Strozier Library from 4PM to 6PM. Meet at the Directory in front of the circulation desk by 4PM. We’ll be on our way to the interview room at 4PM.
