Chloe Sailor | 2025 FSU Art MFA Alum:
Awarded Artist Project Grant from Maine Arts Commission + National Endowment for the Arts
Chloe Sailor (MFA ’25) was recently awarded an Artist Project Grant from the Maine Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. This grant will support the further development of Sailor’s project, An Absent Presence: The Woman Doctor of Mount Desert, through materials and other supplies for new work, as well as archival and site research travel. This grant will also support her travel to present this project at a solo exhibition at the Oresman Gallery at Smith College in Northampton, MA.
The exhibition runs from September 8 to October 22, 2026, with an artist lecture and opening reception on September 17 from 5–7 PM.
