Contest for Cartoon & Narration Projects

Samaritan Aviation is currently partnering with Base Productions and Blur Studio to offer an exciting Design Competition opportunity!

We are looking for a modern, animated version of “The Good Samaritan” with a twist, using either a story from our Mercy Flight or Life Flight programs. Sample ideas include but are not limited to:

    • Mercy Flights (USA)
      • Man/Woman traveling to a specialist/cancer treatment
      • Man/Woman/Child in hospice care getting to go home to family Man/Woman/Child traveling to receive an organ transplant
    • Life Flights(Papua New Guinea, Float Plane)
      • Expectant mother in labor distress being rescued
      • Man/Woman/Child bit by a poisonous snake needing emergency medicine
      • Man/Woman/Child who fell from a tree, broke their back & needs hospital care

Storyboards and narrations submitted by the deadline will be judged by a panel of three: Samaritan Aviation’s President, Gary Bustin; Base Production’s Vice President of Production, John Davis; and Blur Studio’s Executive Producer, Al Shier.

The top ten ranked storyboards will then be invited to submit animations. The winning animator will win $1,000.00 and a half hour interview with Blur Studio’s Executive Producer, Al Shier. (www.blur.com) <http://www.blur.com/>
