During Professor Curry’s roundtable discussion, “Why I Force Students to Leave My Classroom,” he will discuss his approach of using task-based assignments to engage students with chance, observation, and their surroundings to embrace and see what is truly around them. “Getting students out of their heads (and out of their own way) is an ongoing process. One that will serve them well beyond their time in the university bubble.”
