On Tuesday, March 18, 2014 Dr. Antonio C. Cuyler and students in his Arts Administration in the Public Sector course participated in Arts and Culture Day in Tallahassee, FL. The Florida Cultural Alliance sponsored activities around the Capital including legislative updates, messages from Secretary of State, Ken Detzner, Michael Spring, Chairman of the Florida Cultural Alliance, performances and more.

In addition, during the Arts and Culture Day, the Florida Higher Education Arts Network (FHEAN) honored Arts Administration doctoral student Sam Rosenstein with the 2014 Student Arts Advocacy Award.

The Center for Arts Administration Program’s mission is to provide research and service as a resource base for teaching and learning in arts administration in conjunction with the Department of Art Education.
In this role, the center and the department of Art Education coordinate a multidisciplinary academic program in arts administration among several colleges and schools of the arts and in service to the state, government, and business.
