Invitation to Artists to Submit Work Samples for Streetscape Project
GrahamBooth Landscape Design invites work samples and resumes from
professional, experienced public art artists to consider for
inclusion in a downtown street renovation in Tampa, FL.
The plan is
pedestrian-oriented and also incorporates sustainable water
treatment and lighting. Total budget of $180,000 will be allocated
among some of the following items that are under consideration:
Sidewalk treatments with color
Art attached to light poles, relief or wall sculpture
Imagery on panels that interpret community – cast metal, enamel,
ceramic, etc
A series of narrow sidewalk sculptures, 4-7 feet tall, that
include sustainable lighting
Embellishment of commercial street furnishings with mosaic or
other media
Series of small mosaic , tile or cement “rugs” in front of benches
Electronic/video art
Small to moderate scale sculptures FOR PURCHASE
