Anderson Ranch Arts Center is hiring an Artistic Director for the areas of: sculpture, wood, and metals. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply.
Anderson Ranch Arts Center is a non-profit cultural institution established in 1966
with its campus in Snowmass Village, Colorado. By offering workshop programs,
artist-in-residency programs, visiting artists programs, exhibitions and outreach,
Anderson Ranch Arts Center provides transformative experiences that celebrate
artists, art-making, creative dialog and community.
The Artistic Director of Sculpture will provide professional leadership, artistic
expertise and institutional support to all programs in this artistic area, including
woodworking, woodturning, furniture design and metals. The Artistic Director will
be current in digital fabrication technologies and will coordinate the Ranch
“Fab Lab.” The selected individual will be a practicing artist with a national and
international exhibition record. He/she will have direct involvement in the
Anderson Ranch community as an artist and teacher. The position requires a

It is expected that the Artistic Director participate in the artist-in-residence program by conducting the initial review of applications, supporting jury selection, participating in residency functions and acting as a mentor to residents.
As part of a team of Artistic Directors representing the major art disciplines offered by the Ranch, the individual is expected to collaborate as a team member on envisioning and implementing the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.

Anderson Ranch Arts Center offers a competitive salary and benefits package
and a supportive work environment. Salary depends on level of experience.
Compensation may include on-campus private housing. Relocation assistance
