The alt_space gallery is a non-commercial exhibition space dedicated to Florida artists working in a variety of artistic genres that can include: conceptual art, site specific installation, new media, digital media, video, sculpture, or any other experimental practice.  The alt_space gallery is located at ACA’s Downtown facility (123 Douglas Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL  32168).  The alt_space gallery aims to provide a platform to engage the community in a dilogue about art process, methodology, concepts, and materials.

Eligibility: The alt_space call for artists is open to artists in Florida, 18 years of age or older.

Submissions must include the following :

• 6 professional quality digital JPG images.  If unable to provide images, please include a project proposal describing your plans for the space.
• Detailed image inventory including titles, dimensions, and media
• Curriculum Vitae (artist resume)
• Artist Statement
• Individual and group proposals will be considered
