Professor Mona Bozorgi’s “The Haptic Image” solo exhibition is currently on display at the Charles W. Lamar Studio gallery, Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts, Pensacola, FL from August 10th – October 9th, 2026.
This exhibition reframes photography as a multisensory experience, connecting materials, concepts, and touch to reveal the unseen and engage viewers beyond sight. Using material experimentation to explore touch as both a physical sensation and an emotional force, the artworks depict the historic and ongoing challenges of women globally and invites visitors to reflect on how the female identity is represented and shaped by contemporary society.
