Samantha McCoy (MFA 2021) was recently hired as the new Instructor of Foundations & Graphic Design at Murray State University!
We are thrilled to celebrate FSU MFA in Studio Art alum Samantha McCoy and her exciting new chapter at Murray State University as the new Instructor of Foundations & Graphic Design. A contemporary artist, educator, and arts professional, Samantha brings to this position a practice grounded in painting, drawing, and an ongoing investigation of the complicated relationship between natural and constructed landscapes. Her journey from our program into teaching, curatorial work, and arts leadership reflects the many ways an artist’s practice can extend beyond the studio and into the communities they serve. We are incredibly proud to see Samantha continue to grow as both an artist and educator, and we look forward to seeing the impact she will make on her students and the creative community at Murray State.
