“On the Rise: Celebrating Award-Winning Student Artists” Exhibition

The FSU Department of Art presents On the Rise: Celebrating Award-Winning Student Artists, an exhibition showcasing recipients of the 2026 Department of Art Student Awards and celebrating the creativity, experimentation, and excellence of FSU Studio Art students.

Featured Undergraduate Artists: Michelle Howe, Sophia Fortin, Kaylee Aguas, Stephen T. Snyder, Casey Jewett, Ricky Blosser, Mina An Dinh, Carmin Kirkpatrick, and Erika Kime

 

This year’s exhibition also includes a special two-person exhibition featuring graduate award winners Pim Ruby and Ricder Ricardo. Their work highlights the distinctive voices, ambitious practices, and range of experimentation taking place within FSU’s graduate studio art community.

Together, these exhibitions recognize outstanding student achievement while demonstrating how Department of Art awards support artists as they develop their practices, pursue ambitious projects, and build their professional careers.
