My current work could be said to be an epistemological endeavor, a visual inquiry into the correlation of NOTHINGNESS and Knowledge. Our knowledge creates our beliefs, and opinions hence our realities; we live existing in a mental construct. How does nothingness correspond with knowing and how does the process of knowing/coming to know reshape our perception of reality? These notions often lead to the question of the true nature of things concerning our existence. In my practice, I examine nations of ambivalence in efforts to bring forth innovative understanding and social change. I mostly engage with non-traditional mediums in the form of conceptual art using philosophical research to influence my expressions, representations, and the form which my work takes. For it is the concept that is the initial work and forms and mediums are tools that are applied in context.
