Art Alum Scott Bell has Solo Show in Dallas

FSU Art MFA ’16 Scott Bell has opened a solo show titled Not Listening at 500x Gallery in Dallas, Texas. The show marks his third solo show with the gallery, and will be on view March 27 – April 25, 2021.

This series of works details the curse of our current over-stimulated culture. The work acts as a visual representation of the struggle to be present while in a constant search for distraction. Here, imagery battles for your attention, as the flat colors comment on levels of clear and present focus.

Mr. Bell received his BFA from the University of North Florida and his MFA from Florida State University. He has won several academic awards and has had numerous national and international exhibitions. Originally from Florida, he currently lives and works in Dallas, TX.
