6:00 – 8:00PM
Exhibition: January 8th – January 31st
Please join the College of Fine Arts on Friday, January 8th, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm for the opening reception of the Annual Art Faculty Exhibition. This exhibition will run from January 8th through January 31st. Admission is FREE and open to the public!
January is the time for MoFA audiences to catch up on the projects and recent works of the talented art faculty of the College of Fine Arts. Diverse in vision, media and execution, the works exhibited in the Annual Faculty Exhibition demonstrate visual investigations that form the studio practices of the Florida State University’s Department of Art Faculty. More than 52 full-time and adjunct faculty will exhibit works in many different media, confront traditional notions of art, push boundaries and expectations, and make contemporary points with humor and passion.
This year, if you come to the opening at 5:30pm on January 8, 2016, you will have the chance to hear Keith Roberson, Joelle Dietrick and Kevin Curry talk about their ambitious and inventive works that meld computer fluency with visual intrigue.
