Please join us on Saturday, March 22, 2014 for this year’s Northern Florida area Camp ShopBot.
The School of Theatre’s Technical Production department is located 5 minutes west of FSU’s main campus in a large converted middle school, and is one of the top MFA Technical Production programs in the country. Our host is Professor Robert Coleman, director of their MFA program, and his students, who are proud owners of a ShopBot 4×8 PRS alpha.
There will be presentations on a variety of topics and techniques, from working with various materials to maintaining your machine. Randy Johnson from ShopBot (and past Editor of American Woodworker magazine) will be on hand leading several of the presentations and demonstrating the new “Handibot” tool. When you sign up make sure to let us know what topics are of particular interest to you. We’ll do our best to cover the ones with the most interest. Plus there will be Q and A time and information on additional help and training.
If you’re new to Camps, read more about them at: What is a Camp ShopBot?
