Art by MANDEM (FSU Art MFA ’15 student Maize Arendsee) has been accepted to the Masur Museum of Art’s 52nd Annual Juried Competition in Monroe, LA. The work selected is “Doll (Act III),” a short film which has also been in juried shows at MINT Gallery (Atlanta, GA) and the VSU Fine Arts Gallery (Valdosta, GA).

This long-running annual juried competition is for contemporary artists throughout the United States and showcases some of America’s best curatorial talent. The 2015 competition is curated by Sandra Firmin, Director and Chief Curator of the Colorado University Art Museum.

The Masur Museum of Art is the largest collecting and exhibiting institution of modern and contemporary art in Northeast Louisiana.
