MANDEM’s Angst-ridden photographs explore the gap between the adult world and the children who inhabit it.  through taken exclusively from the angle of a child’s gaze, their subject is more the anxieties of adulthood.

Two-year-old KITSUKO’s paintings embrace life with unmediated spontaneity.  Though she prides herself on the very grown-up and serious act of using her mothers’ paints and brushes, the resulting images reveal a child’s sheer joy in texture and color.

July 5th @ Right On! Gallery: 694-2 Industrial Dr. (Railroad Square)
