The Ringling Opens its 2013/14 Season of the Art of Our Time

Published August 9, 2013

The Ringling opens its 2013/14 season of the Art of Our Time programming beginning this October. The Ringling has been expanding its presence in the world of contemporary art through the ongoing Art of Our Time initiative, which presents exhibitions and performances that exemplify and explore the rich diversity of ideas and forms at play in the world today. Through Art of Our Time, The Ringling is engaging a diverse audience through direct interaction with living artists who are creating new works that defy easy categorization.

  • NOWHERE: Finding Our Way in the 21st Century (January–March 2014): A three-month, interdisciplinary presentation of more than a dozen exhibitions and performances, ancillary lectures, conversations with artists and curators, and a two-day symposium with national leaders in the field of art and performance.
