This exhibition serves as a collection of artifacts from local Chinese talents and aims to enrich the Chinese cultural to local community. The Exhibition will include artworks created by both local Chinese artists and visiting artists from China.
Theme: Artworks created by Chinese and reflect the Chinese culture will be selected for the show. It culd be in the form of traditional ink and brush painting, calligraphy, prints, photography, and paper cut or, 3D sculpture, ceramic, embroidery, silk, short movie, etc.
Dates: The artist could begin installing as early as week of May 26th (last week of May). The exhibit will open its doors to the public Monday, June 2nd. The opening reception will be Thursday, June 5th with performance, Chinese painting demonstration, an art talk by two guest artists from China, and Chinese Gong Fu Performance.
The week of June 2nd-6th art talks related to the art exhibit that the FAMU students can experience.
The show will come down June 20th.
