The Shandaken Project at Storm King is a residency program, offered at no cost to participants. The residency season begins in June and ends in late September. Visual artists, dancers, writers, curators, scholars, and musicians are offered room, board, and studio space for two to six weeks each, three at a time. This intimate scale encourages dialogue between residents, while the private setting of Storm King Art Center’s grounds allows for intense focus on individual practice. Residents are offered unique opportunities to visit Storm King’s grounds, see its collection, and get to know its staff.
