Rob Duarte at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts' "New Works"

Published September 23, 2014

attachmentFSU Art Assistant Professor, Rob Duarte, participated in the 2014 New Works program at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.

From Haystack: “New Works was developed as a major program offering in 1996, seeking to promote significant opportunities for distinguished artists (all former participants in Haystack’s program), to create new work and exchange ideas with peers in Haystack’s celebrated studio setting”.

While at New Works, Rob was able to work in Haystack’s FabLab – a digital fabrication facility associated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Bits and Atoms. During his visit to the area, Rob was also invited to the University of Maine Orono, where he met with graduate students in the university’s Intermedia graduate program.
