Yew Chung International School invites proposals from visual artists interested in working with high school students in Beijing for the months of April and May 2017.
This funded residency includes return flights, accommodation, material costs, as well as a per diem towards day-to-day costs. The artist-in-residence will be provided with a space on the school campus to use as a studio space. Project proposals that incorporate student participation are highly encouraged. The artist-in-residence will also be expected to provide mentorship and desk critiques to IB diploma senior art students, give artist talks, workshops, and present a final exhibition/display. Artists with a keen interest in and past experience working with students are highly preferred.
