Photography Internship with Taylor’d Southern Events

Taylor’d Southern Events, a full service wedding and event planning company servicing the Tallahassee area, is seeking interns to assist with wedding photography. Interns will gain valuable, hands-on experience in the areas of wedding photography, small business operations, and social media marketing. The company is looking for bright, creative individuals who are passionate about weddings and special events.

This internship experience will include but is not limited to:

  • Work at engagement sessions, bridal sessions, and weddings
  • Setting up lighting equipment and backdrops
  • Carrying equipment and supplies
  • General computer work
  • Attending events (for example bridal shows) and photoshoots
  • Manage event photo galleries
  • Photo editing including Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Album and print design
  • Contacting potential clients
  • Managing clientele
  • Developing and managing pricing structures
  • Participating in marketing strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

You will be able to perform many of your responsibilities while working remotely and will be required to work at local wedding venues.

This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with dependable transportation, a degree in photography (or must be currently pursuing one), an outgoing personality and a passion for creativity. Some editing experience and ownership of a personal DSLR are preferred.
