Moeller Serviceship Applications Available

Florida State University students can apply now for a Moeller Serviceship through The Center for Leadership and Civic Education. The Moeller Serviceship program provides selected students at Florida State University the opportunity to focus 8 – 12 weeks of their summer on full-time service at a non-profit agency. Selected applicants will receive a stipend for their participation in the program. Stipend awards may be up to $4,000, depending upon the location and duration of service. Examples of past projects have included working with people experiencing homelessness in Tallahassee, being a camp counselor for chronically ill children in California, working for a food bank in London, caring for HIV/AIDS patients in Spain, constructing a technology center in Rwanda, designing and constructing a chicken farm at an orphanage in Tanzania, and serving at an orphanage in India.
