Kevin Curry Exhibiting in K Space Contemporary’s “Third Coast National Biennial”

FSU Associate Teaching Professor, Kevin Curry will be representing Florida with two works in this years Third Coast National Biennial in Corpus Christi, TX. Both are part of his “Tripping over the same stone” series and further his research into place and the authorship of memories.

K Space Contemporary opened its new street level gallery with the first Third Coast National exhibition in 2007. For its first ten years (2007 to 2016), Third Coast National was an annual exhibition. Third Coast National is now a biennial competition and exhibition held in the even numbered years. Third Coast National is a non-thematic exhibition of contemporary works of art in various visual art media. This year, 545 entries were submitted for consideration. Of these, 47 works of art by 28 artists were selected for exhibition.

As a forum for creative exchange and experimentation, we aspire to educate and build awareness for innovative art in South Texas. K Space Contemporary is located in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas.

K Space Contemporary is the oldest alternative art space in the Coastal Bend region. A primary goal of the organization is to exhibit emerging and mid-career artists. K Space provides a forum for under-represented artists whose works are experimental, non-commercial, or difficult to exhibit due to unusual installation requirements or site-specific ideas.
