Illustration for FSU Medical Student to Use at NANOS Conference

Published January 26, 2015

A medical student at FSU COM is presenting a case report at a national conference and needs help with an illustration for the poster.

Illustration for FSU Medical Student to use at NANOS Conference The student states:

“There is a photoshopped image circulating Facebook of a lotus pod flower on a man’s back with a shampoo warning (attached). The patient started a medication and then saw the image while on Facebook one day. She then began to see the same lotus pod flower on peoples’ faces, walls, and closed eyelids for the next month. This phenomenon is known as palinopsia. When she stopped the medication the palinopsia resolved. I need a before image of the lotus pod flower she first saw and an after image of the same flower on people faces, walls, etc. so the audience can visualize what she experienced.”

The deadline for this project is February 13th.
