Haley Lauw Exhibiting in Two 2018 Juried Contemporary Printmaking Exhibitions

FSU Art MFA ’15 and printmaking adjunct faculty Haley Lauw has been selected to exhibit in two international contemporary printmaking exhibitions in 2018.

The Boston Printmakers 2017 North American Print Biennial at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. is juried by Judith Brodie, curator and head of American and modern prints and drawings at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. The Boston Printmakers received 1,990 entries from which 88 works were accepted for the exhibition. In celebration of The Boston Printmakers 70th Year, the cities of Boston and Cambridge are planning a Print Symposium on Saturday, March 3, 2017 from 10am-6pm with events at multiple venues! Schedules and speakers include curators’ presentations in the print collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Harvard museums, and the Boston Athenaeum.

The Contemporary Print exhibition will take place at Flatbed Press in Austin, TX and is juried by Dr. Paul Laidler. Dr. Paul Laidler is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Fine Print Research (CFPR) and Senior Lecturer in BA Illustration / MA Multidisciplinary Printmaking, University of the West England, Bristol, United Kingdom. The exhibition includes the work of 30 contemporary printmakers.
