MFA candidate Ashton Bird and BA graduate Alexa Turnbull are concomitantly exhibiting in two different shows. Bird is exhibiting a large-scale sculpture “Exterior 2 (remix)” in Domestic, 2017 MFA Biennial, and Turnbull has her video “To Be Weightless V. To Be Empty” in a two-gallery video exhibition Art As Information. Domestic runs until mid-March 2018, and Art As Information runs until the end of January 2018
In the summer of 2018, current Adjunct Professor and MFA Graduate Haley Lauw will be featured in an exhibition We Don’t Live There alongside California artist Neal Breton. The Delaware Contemporary is located at 16 Atkinson Circle, Elkton, MD 21921. This exhibition is researched and curated by FSU BFA Alum Morgan Hamilton. Hamilton is an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware.
