FSU Printmaking Students Show Outdoors in Earthwalk at RR Square

Published February 28, 2013

EarthWalk at Railroad Square, sponsored by 621 Gallery, is an outdoor screenprint installation by Amy Fleming’s Media Workshop class. Students designed and fabricated prints using a process called ”Subsurface Reverse Printing” to create weather resistant images which they then installed at locations throughout the square. Visitors can pick up maps detailing the locations of the prints at 621 Gallery, as well as at various businesses throughout the square.
The students drew on upcoming Earth Day celebrations as the theme for their images. The installation will be up beginning March First Friday through the third week in April.
Come pick up a map and go on an art hunt!
