A BIG congratulations goes to Florida State University MFA students and their gallery Working Method Contemporary, which was recently accepted into Fountain Art Fair 2011 held during Art Basel Miami.

“From December 1 through 4, Miami Beach, Florida, will host the 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, the most prestigious art show in the Americas. More than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will take part, showcasing works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.”

The Fountain Art Fair is unlike any  other venue at Art Basel Miami noting,“Art lovers, collectors and press are in agreement that Fountain features the most engaging, unexpected, unpredictable artists of all the other fairs.”

Fountain Art Fair was founded in 2006 as an attempt to leverage support for smaller independent galleries to gain access to larger collectors and critics. Since its inception, Fountain has held five exhibitions in Miami, one in Chicago, and six in New York. From its roots deep within the independent Williamsburg art scene, Fountain has grown to represent over 20 international avant-garde galleries and projects, showcasing progressive primary-market works.
