FSU Art Alum Zoë Charlton Accepts Residency at Artpace

Published May 14, 2018

FSU ART BFA ’95 Zoë Charlton will be the National Artist-In-Residence at Artpace, in San Antonio, TX beginning May 15. At the end of her six week residency, Zoë will have an exhibit of the work created at Artpace.

Artpace is an international artist residency organization in downtown San Antonio. Artpace’s residencies and public programs encourage experimentation and risk-taking and invite the public to experience the world’s most engaging artists and their work. Three times a year, a notable guest curator selects a Texas artist, a national artist, and an international artist to spend two months at Artpace creating new work. Their work is then shown for two months, giving San Antonians and visitors the opportunity to see contemporary artwork as soon as its created.
