FSU Art Alum Ari Richter in GASP! Festival and Media Circus

FSU BFA ’05 Art Alum Ari Richter will be featured in the GASP! Performance Festival in Tampa, FL on Friday, March 16, 7-10pm. He will be in his hometown this Friday, March 16 to perform a couple live sets of his punny and profane Arioke videos! Ari says he’s honored to be included in the eclectic lineup of this annual performance festival, organized at the Tampa Museum of Art by the local arts paper, Creative Loafing. Ari will also have a couple new pieces on display in the exhibition, Media Circus, at Trio Contemporary in Athens, GA. The show is curated by Tatiana Veneruso, and will feature a veritable bacchanal of materials, including a mixed-media sculpture of Richter’s and a skin drawing on glass. Opening Reception will be Friday, April 6, 7-9pm.
