Former FAR Intern Lands Job in Additive Manufacturing Industry

Former FAR Intern Lands Job in Additive Manufacturing IndustryFSU‘s BA Javier Rivera graduated last year, and during his undergraduate career, he became interested in 3D modeling. With that interest, Javier took an internship at the Facility for Arts Research, and he was able to work with Windham Graves, our resident MMAP technician.

Javier’s experience led him to get a paid internship at the Miami-based additive manufacturing company, 3D Chimera. His main job is to assist with in-house 3D printing projects, and he also preps machines for resell and services 3D printers, ensuring the best efficiency for 3D Chimer’s clients.
