Members of the College of Fine Arts Dean’s Society gathered on Friday, December 7th for the fall 2018 Dean’s Society Breakfast, featuring an exclusive look at the Museum of Fine Arts newly acquired gift of photographs by artist David Leventhal.

The morning began with breakfast in the Museum of Fine Arts’ lower gallery, currently displaying “Per-iph-er-al Vi-sion,” an exhibition showcasing work by students graduating in December 2018 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art. Shortly after breakfast, presenters Adam Jolles, Chair of the Department of Art History, John Mann, Associate Professor in the Department of Art, and Preston McLane, Museum of Fine Arts Director, discussed the history, creation and significance of the recently acquired David Leventhal photographs. Dean’s Society members were able to ask questions and participate throughout the presentation.

The College would like to extend a warm ‘Thank You’ to everyone who was able to attend the breakfast. We always appreciate the opportunity to engage and connect with our Dean’s Society members.
